Fried Chicken Wings Recipe
Following are the three simple and easy steps of this recipe to prepare Fried Chicken Wings.
Chicken Wings Marination
Rinse the chicken wings under fresh water and pat dry them with paper towels.
To prepare chicken wing marinade, take a large enough mixing bowl. Combine yogurt, garlic powder (or garlic paste as a substitute), black or white pepper powder, red chili powder, and salt to the taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
Now add chicken wings to the marinade. Apply the marinade thoroughly to all chicken pieces. Cover the bowl and set it aside for marination of the chicken wings for 30 to 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, mix the wings again. Now place a deep pan or a wok over the stove and pour cooking oil into it for deep frying. Fill almost 2 inches of the pan with cooking oil. Start heating the cooking oil on medium flame before putting the wings into it.
Coating
Now take breadcrumbs on a plate. Crack two eggs in a bowl and whisk them. Dip the wing in the egg and then dredge it in the breadcrumbs. Coat all the wings in the same way.
By the time we’ll coat the first batch of the wings, we’ll have the oil hot enough to start frying.
Deep Fried Chicken Wings
Now we’ll deep fry these coated chicken wings. Put the wings into the hot oil. Don’t stir the wings as soon as you drop them into the oil so that the coating may not fall off. Now reduce the flame to low. If the flame is high, the coating may burn and the wings remain raw from inside.
Here a query may arise in one’s mind that how long to deep fry chicken wings. It’s just a matter of a few minutes. Cook the wings till light golden color. Flip the sides after 1 to 1&1/2 minutes. The wings will be cooked through after 4 to 5 minutes. We can fry them in batches.
When done, place the fried chicken wings over the paper towel so that the excess oil gets absorbed into it. The delicious and crispy chicken wings are ready to serve. Serve them hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice.
