Fried Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Chicken Nuggets Recipe is a super easy recipe to make fried chicken nuggets in a matter of minutes. This recipe is very simple and involves just three simple and easy steps to yield yummy and flavorful nuggets for the kids.

How to Make Chicken Nuggets

Take ½ kg skinless and boneless chicken. I used chicken breast in this recipe. Cut the breast into small pieces and boil in a minimal quantity of water till the meat is tender and soft.

Chicken Nuggets Seasonings

Take a mixing bowl and pour ¾ cup of milk into it. Add salt, black pepper powder, white cumin seeds powder, dried fenugreek, and mustard powder. Mix all the ingredients well.

Now pour melted butter into this mixture. Also, add garlic paste, soy sauce, and red chili sauce. Mix well.

Take 3 slices of bread and convert them into breadcrumbs. Mix the already prepared mixture with the breadcrumbs.

Now put the boiled chicken into a chopper. Add the mixture of spices and breadcrumbs, and 2 chopped fresh green chilies. Chop all the ingredients till a homogenous paste is prepared. Now refrigerate it for 25 to 40 minutes for marination.

Preparing the Batter

To coat the chicken nuggets, prepare the batter and rusk crumbs. To prepare the chicken nuggets batter, whisk 3 eggs in a separate bowl. Add all-purpose flour and cornflour and mix well. Season it with salt and black pepper powder and mix well.

Rusk Crumbs: Now prepare rusk crumbs from 7 to 8 rusks.

After 40 minutes of marination take the mixture out of the refrigerator. Lubricate your hands by applying some oil so that the nuggets paste or masala does not stick to your hands. Take a small portion from the paste and shape the nuggets as you like.

Tip:        You can freeze these nuggets into the freezer for 1 to 2 months.

Dip the nugget into the batter and then dredge it in the rusk crumbs. Prepare all the nuggets in the same manner. After preparing the nuggets refrigerate them for 20 to 30 minutes before frying.

Frying the Nuggets

We’ll deep fry the chicken nuggets. Take a large frying pan or a skillet and pour cooking oil into it for deep frying. Heat the oil before dropping the nuggets in the pan. Make sure that the oil is hot enough and then start frying the nuggets.

To check if the oil is hot enough put a tiny piece of bread into the oil if it rises and starts to sizzle immediately then it is the right time to fry. Fry the nuggets on low flame till light golden brown on all sides. Flip the sides as needed. In 7 to 8 minutes, the nuggets will be cooked through. If needed, you can fry them in batches.

When done, take them out of the pan with a strainer. Hold the strainer above the pan for a while so that the oil drains back into the pan. You can also land the nuggets on the paper towel to get the excess oil absorbed into it. Serve the chicken nuggets with ketchup or with the dip of your choice.
