Mince Pizza Recipe

Chicken Mince Pizza is a flavorful homemade pizza made with spiced chicken mince, fresh vegetables, and melted cheese, baked in a pan or wok without an oven. This easy stovetop pizza uses a prepared pizza base and simple cooking techniques to achieve a soft crust and juicy topping, making it perfect for home kitchens without oven access.

Ingredients
  

Mince Seasoning Ingredients
  • 250 grams Chicken (minced)
  • 5 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Spices powder
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1.5 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1.5 tbsp Cooking oil
Pizza Dough
  • 1 prepared dough ball (homemade or store-bought)
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 qty Tomato (deseeded)
  • 1 qty Onion
  • 1 qty Capsicum (deseeded)
  • 1 tsp Basil / Oregano leaves (Dry)
  • Sliced Olives (to taste)
  • 5 tbsp Pizza sauce (or to taste)
  • 200 grams Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese (or to taste)      

Method
 

Mince Pizza Preparation
  1. Finely mince 250 g boneless chicken using a knife or food processor. Keep aside.

  2. Deseed the tomato and capsicum. Cut the tomato, onion, and capsicum into thin julienne strips.

Cooking the Mince
  1. Heat 1½ tbsp oil in a pan over medium flame. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant.

  2. Add the chicken mince and cook, stirring continuously, until the color changes.

  3. Add yogurt and spices. Mix well.

  4. Cover the pan, and cook for 5–6 minutes until the moisture dries. Turn off the heat.

Pizza Dough & Crust
  1. Place the prepared pizza dough ball on a lightly oiled surface and gently stretch it into a round base. Avoid pressing the edges to keep them soft.
    Prick the base with a fork. Lightly brush oil only on the edge of the crust.

Mince Pizza Toppings
  1. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the base, keeping the edges clean.

  2. Sprinkle a light layer of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese over the sauce.

  3. Spread the cooked chicken mince evenly.

  4. Arrange the onion, capsicum, and tomato slices on top. Then, place olive slices.

  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the pizza. Next, sprinkle dried basil leaves and rest the pizza for 10–15 minutes.

Baking the Mince Pizza
  1. Preheat a heavy wok on high flame for 8 minutes and place a metal stand or trivet inside. Place the pizza pan inside the wok.

  2. Cover the wok tightly, and bake for 15-20 minutes on a low-medium flame.

  3. Remove the pizza from the wok, slice using a pizza cutter, and serve hot with sauce.
