How to Make Tava Chicken
Heat the Tawa slightly. Pour ghee on it. You can use cooking oil or butter as a substitute. Heat the oil slightly.
Pour the marinated chicken on Tawa. Fry it on a medium flame for 1 minute.
To make the chicken tender with steam, cover it for 7 to 8 minutes. Keep flame low to medium.
After 7 to 8 minutes remove the cover. The chicken will have released water.
Dry this water on a high flame.
When the chicken becomes dry, add blended onions and tomato (blended separately). Now cook on medium to high flame.
When you get a one-tone texture gravy and oil starts separating turn the flame to medium. Fry the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes more. Fry it well to get the best taste.
Now season it with black cumin seeds, dry coriander seeds (coarsely ground), and black pepper powder. Fry all things for 1 minute.
Our Tawa chicken curry is ready now. Garnish it with chopped fresh coriander leaves, sliced fresh green chilies, and julienned ginger. Serve it hot and enjoy.
